Lately I’ve been on a quest to identify (and eat at) as many sausage-concept restaurants as possible. I’ve had the good fortune of spending some time at DBGB Kitchen & Bar NYC, Dogmatic NYC, Boccalone in SF and Wurstkuche in L.A.. All stellar by the way.
So recently I came across Asia Dog in New York and although I have not been there (yet), it inspired the recipe below.
I don’t typically eat kimchi or ginger very often separately but together in this relish they were sublime along side the sweet and spice of the sriracha ketchup!
Asian Hot Dog Recipe
1 – 1/4 All Beef Artisan Hot Dog
1- Fresh Artisan Roll
1/4 cup each of ketchup and sriracha sauce mixed evenly
1/2 cup each of kimchi and Ginger finely chopped
Instructions….put the ketchup and toppings on heavy and enjoy it with a light beer…preferably an Ichiban.
